Self signed cert expired.

We have an exchange 2010 server that has 2 certificates on it. One just expired two days ago which was a self signed certificate for smtp
We have another certificate that we renewed a couple of months ago through GoDaddy that is good fro 3 more years and it has the smtp assigned to it.
My question is, can we remove the self signed cert that expired since the other one from GoDaddy has smtp associated with it?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes you can remove that self signed cert since your 3rd party cert has smtp assigned to it.

Ok that's what I thought but just wanted to be sure

Check in IIS website bindings if this certificate is not used by any of your websites or exchange sites.
If not, then you can removed.
