Sharing OneDrive for Business

Someone asked me if he can setup three computers in his home to share a OneDrive for Business drive.  I'm not sure if this is possible and if so how to set this up.

Set up One Drive on each computer, set up folders and then share the folders to whoever should have access.  That will work.

I have looked at that, and it appears that you can only share folders with people that are part of your office365 subscription.
I was assuming the people had Office.

If the people do not all have Office or there is some other issue, use Drop Box instead of OneDrive.
Can Dropbox be setup shared?
Yes.  Drop Box is a little more universal in terms of Client machines.

One Drive is for Windows 10 with a Microsoft account or Windows with Office.
If each of my computers is used by a different family member,  they would each login to dropbox using the same Microsoft account?

FYI, DropBox is not Microsoft. Authentication is not related.
Drop Box does not use a Microsoft account. You can assign different user ids for different shares.
