Does that do the work? If you would tell what Tablet and which android version things would be a little bit easier.
Still is that tablet connected to power all the time or only when battery gets low?

Usually from settings > General > Power saving mode ; switch it on or off

depends on your Android version and Tablet Manufacturer (settings menu sometimes differs).
BUT .. the sleep time in android in 30 minute maximum. you cannot make it longer than this

in my mobile, i have this option, check if you have it. Under settings - Developer options - the option is called Stay Awake, just turn it on.

Already turn off sleep mode in Brightness control and it still go to power save. Does it mean I can't ensure it always on ? My version is Android 6.0

go to settings - about
tap the build item 5 times, you will have a message called developer options enabled.
go back to settings menu, you'll have developer options
activate the stay awake option
