Rename Outlook Account Name

I have a customer using Office 365 and Outlook 2013.  Customer's Outlook was configured with a generic email address receptionist@companyname.com.  Eventually we changed the primary exchange email address to employeename@companyname.com and made receptionist@companyname.com an alias.  The issue we are having is the Outlook name in the left menu tree still shows receptionist@companyname.com.  The end users wishes to see the correct email address.  I know we can recreate the Outlook profile but was wondering if there is a way to just rename it.

Consider it an opportunity to clear out cruft from the old profile and start anew.

You only need to recreate the Outlook profile AFAIK, not Windows profile

In the past we have recreated the Outlook profile and know that will take care of it but was wondering if someone knew a workaround.
