I need to remove VGA cable from my CRT monitor

Alan is correct ... if the cable is attached by captive screws at an external connector on the case.

But if the cable is not attached by captive screws, then it'll be necessary to open the case, locate where the cable attaches to the monitor's controller board, and either desolder it or disconnect the (probably custom) connector on the controller board.  imo, it would be easier to get a new flat-screen monitor rather than put that much effort into a CRT monitor ... unless the cable was physically damaged and the monitor was very special.

Just unscrew it (if screwed in) and pull it out gently.

If it has been screwed in there for years, you might need a screwdriver to undo it.
