Can HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M127fw connect with WPS?

Can HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M127fw connect with WPS?

I just switched to COMCAST and have an Xfiniti wireless modem sitting right next to the printer.

We connected it to wifi using the old fashioned method. Search for the network, join with the password.

It worked fine, but suddenly the blue wifi light is flashing and that printer shows as offline.

I open Wireless Setting and it shows the network name as if it's connected to it.

So, can I use the WPS feature with this printer?

The Xfinity modem has a prominently placed WPS button I am dying to use.

And, I think the problem would be solved.

Let me know.

Not sure if the M127fw supports WPS connection but all the HP wireless printers use the same setup process so it's an easy test

1) Put the printer into WPS push mode by pressing and holding the wireless button on the printer for more than 3 seconds - the LED flashes while in seek mode.

2) Press the WPS button on your router

3) Allow up to 2 minutes for handshake and setup

4) That's it :)

If you don't have a wireless button on the printer that's the surest sign that you'll need to go with using the old-fashioned SSID route :(

The only Wifi button that printer has does notting when I push and hold. It only opens the Wifi setup and shows "Connecting..."

So, when I try to connect again, my network does not show up in the list of networks, even though my PC and color laser are connecting through that network.

Yep, needs a physical button - much like on your router.
The soft button on the AIO only allows you to setup direct SSID passphrases not WPS so the answer i'm afraid is no.
No WPS available here :(
