Electronic scribbling pad

Dear experts,

I am looking for an electronic scribbling where I can make notes.

I am currently learning mathematics from a tutor. currently I need to photocopy all my notes to save them for future reference. This is both time consuming expensive.

The electronic gadget I am looking for purely writing (legible/sharp/rather than blunt font) and saving the written material. I am not looking for a typical tab which has several other features. The screen should be of the size A4 paper (circa).

I live in India so I need something which can purchased locally. Alternatively from the US market or Singapore market.

Kindly advice.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If it has a touch screen, then one or more of the apps for you should work.

If you need to take notes away from your PC, take a look at the Acecad Digimemo.
Amazon has the A501 for $79.

You write on a normal pad of paper with a special pen, and the tablet stores writing and drawing.  The writing is quite sharp, and you can store dozens of pages on the device and hundreds on a memory card.  You use a USB cable to upload the pages to your PC later.
