VB.net Embed 3trd party software DLL in VB.net project

I am trying to embed a DLL in a new Windows forms VB.net application.
I downloaded the software from https://bytescout.com/products/developer/pdfextractorsdk/convert-pdf-to-excel-csv#vbnet
I created the Windows Forms application in Visual Studio 2010 and then copied the .DLL file into my projects
main folder.
I then went to References and clicked on Add and browsed to the .DLL file. The first image below shows this reference.
The second image shows how the "Imports" at the top of my VB.net code dot seem to recognize the DLL.
Also the code is showing errors.
Am I doing something wrong?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Open the Solution Explorer window and select the project that the DLL will be used in. Right click on it and select Add Reference. In the new window select Browse and then navigate to the 3rd party dll and select it and then press OK.
