Letters not appear beside the cursor - Apple Mail

Hello!

I have some problems with Macs at my job. People use Apple Mail to send their emails. OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

Everyhing worked fine until last week. If she wrote a email and put her cursor back in a sentence, the letters are writing at the end of it.

She cannot put her letters where she want, they always go at the end of the sentence even if she place the cursor everywhere in it.

Do you have an idea of what is the problem? I did the command trick to put the encoding to UTF-8 as default. It works 2 days and the problem came back.

Thanks!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

El Capitan is quite old - you can't upgrade to (High) Sierra? What kind of Mac is this about?

No problem, I'm on High Sierra and I tested what you describe in Apple Mail and I don't have seen the issue that you describe.
