Fresh Win 10 install does Not recognize touchpad hardware device.

Lenovo Thinkpad latop Model 20CD0033US recently upgraded through a fresh Windows 10 install from older upgrade.
i7-4500 U
8G RAM
256GB SS Drive
Win 10 Home

Problem is that touchpad is no longer recognized in Device Manager.  Advice appreciated how to address via new driver and hardware recognition.
I have a restore USB but would rather keep the fresh OS install if possible..

thanks

There shouldn't be the need for a touchpad driver at all.

Provide a screenshot of device manager, please and also give us the hardware ID as seen in device manager - properties - details (Property: HardwareID).

For this laptop, find the Synaptics UltraNav Driver. It is under Mouse and Keyboard drives in the link provided by McKnife.

Download and install the UltraNav Driver and then set up the TouchPad. I use this driver on my ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptop.

TouchPAD? LOL... I misread and thought touchscreen the whole time...although I even wrote touchpad myself. Yes, that's a different story and the drivers are there.

It was John's link. So if John wants to have points adjusted, the question would need to be reopened.
