Hey, <br />
I'm an android developer and I'm facing a problem in running my app in background. I'm trying in vivo 9 which have android 8 os in it. I sow whatsapp is running properly even when I swipe it off from background. But when I swipe off my app it stops running. I excluded it from battery optimization &amp;&nbsp;also given high rank consumption. also locked the app to run in background by clicking the lock icon.<br />
I think android 8 did some changes. but still I need a clear answer. Please help!

Android 8

Operating systems perform basic tasks, such as recognizing input from the keyboard, sending output to the display screen, keeping track of files and directories on the disk, and controlling peripheral devices such as disk drives and printers.
