Delete Special Character in all Excel Wookbooks

I have 60 Excel workbooks that have a special character (*) that is part of the cell value in column I that I would like to remove.  The cell  values are ***High*** or ***Med*** or ***Low***. I would loop through all the files in the folder and deleted the special character. Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are there multiple worksheets in each workbook, just one, or a specific worksheet to remove the asterisks from?

Modify the folder path to suit...

Sub DeleteAstericks()

    Dim wb As Workbook
    Dim filename As String
    Const FolderPath As String = "C:\PathToFolder\"

    filename = Dir(FolderPath & "*.xlsx")
    Do While filename <> ""
        Set wb = Workbooks.Open(FolderPath & filename)
        wb.Worksheets(1).Range("C:C").Replace "~*", "", xlPart
        wb.Close True
        filename = Dir()
    Loop

End Sub
