RDP Left mouse click not work on some apps and some areas Windows 2008 R2

I’m using rdp for a Windows 2008 r2 and left mouse click is not working in some areas of some apps in Windows 2008 R2. It was working fine a week ago and suddenly stopped work. For example firefox all left mouse is working except when the pop up of download a file is triggered and you need to left click ok to download that left click not work you need to hit enter key to be accepted, or if you want to see the list of files are downloading you click on the place to go there and not work. In other applications that requires login the same when you enter user name and password and you need to click the button login not work left mouse click in that login button, the same you need to press the key enter to be able to work.

Is strange because when you click in a place that you can’t left click the click action of the button appears like triggered, in other words, you see how the button is clicked because change of color but never triggers the action.

What could be the problem?

What could be the problem with Java ?

I uninstalled Java and reinstalled Java but the same. But maybe you are right there because most applications that not work well are in Java. What can be done?

You mean on your system, I presume.

What can be done?

Try your Java code on a machine that doesn't share the same apparent OS issues as the one you are trying it on now.

It appears to me that the left click is actually occuring but not on the location your mouse cursor resides on the screen.

Is the system you are RDP'ing to a Virtual Machine by chance?
If so, and it is VMWare, install VMWare Tools and it will fix most mouse issues.

Please advise.
