"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Mail Universal group: it's a group that can be emailed from anywhere in the organization (other sites and virtually anywhere from the internet as well, if configured).

Universal Group, it's mean to manage permissions. So it's a universal group that can have people from 2 different ADs in the same forest, for example. Stand to manage access to resources, like RDP or shared folders.
