NTP server for VM

We are setting up a small office with few ESxi hosts in the cluster. The AD domain controllers are going to be VMs.
My understanding is that the the PCs are going to sync the time with DC (PDC emulator).
Will the DCs sync the time with Esxi hosts or do we have to set the DC to sync the time with external server?

The recommended method is as follows

1. Always sync hosts with External time source

2. Always sync AD PDC emulator with same time source as 1 above

3. Windoze PCs in AD domain will sync with 2 above

4. Linux PCs sync with same time source in 1 above

DO NOT SYNC VMS TO HOSTS YSING VMWARE TOOLS this is now disabled in most later version of tools now

By external time source I mean GPS Clock your own NTP server or if you must Internet Time Source
