Snapshots appeared after Veeam upgrade to 9.5

Since upgrading to Veeam 9.5 Ive noticed I now have snapshots on two of my 4 servers which sit on the vCentre. Im down to 350gb on the main storage datastore and dont have any more space presently available. I never noticed these snapshots before on Veeam 8 but I may of not noticed but since upgrading to 9.5 a lot of space has disappeared from my datastore.

Is there a way the snapshots can be consolidated into the main vm files or do I have to provide more space?

You need to check after each backup there are no snapshots

Do the following on each VM one at a time

1. Take a new snapshot
2. Wait 120 seconds
3. Select Delete All
4. Wait and be patient for the snapshot data to be merged into parent disk

This can take some time do not cancel restart or mess with VM

ok, so Ive done the above on my SQL server and can now see my snapshot which I created moments ago and also the Veeam one which has been there a while. So into the snapshot manager and hit delete all and sit tight?

Thank you Andrew, as always excellent advice - worked a dream. Both Veeam and my datastore are back to normal now.
Regular check after backups for snapshots otherwise set Alarms!
