I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To copy a Sheet follow these steps...

1) Right click on Sheet tab to be copied --> Choose Move or Copy --> Tick the CheckBox "Create a copy" and click OK.

2) Another method is, hold down the Ctrl Key, click and hold down the left mouse button and drag towards right, you will notice a + icon and then leave the Ctrl key and left mouse button.
After the sheet is copied, just rename it as per your requirement.
To rename a Sheet, double click the Sheet tab and rename it.

one question

if  I rename the tab name from sheet 1 to other name

wont affect the  working ?
Subodh Tiwari (Neeraj)Excel & VBA ExpertCommented:
No. The code relies on the ActiveSheet not on the Sheet name. So you can copy the Sheet1 and rename it as you want.

Also, here is a video demo about how to copy a sheet.
