I recently reinstalled Windows 10 and my wife's bookmarks were not backed up and I forgot to do so. Windows 10 was already on the computer when I reinstalled it and I did a clean install. Is there anyway to get the .json (firefox bookmarks) file back?
I kind of thought so, but I did hear something about files being in a folder called windows.old. Could you possibly give me more information on this please?
There are two folders which say "Windows.old" & "Windows.old.000". I found a .json bookmarks file that says "bookmarks-2017-06-27.json" so I can get to this file.
This topic area includes legacy versions of Windows prior to Windows 2000: Windows 3/3.1, Windows 95 and Windows 98, plus any other Windows-related versions including Windows Mobile.
So far as I know the bookmarks are lost.
