How can I create a local backup of G Suite account?

Hi, There can be many reasons behind the issue of "Google Takeout failed to create Archive". Some of those reasons are:  

• Network connection problem

• Interruption while Creating archive

• Exceeding Size Limit

Please check the above conditions while using Google Takeout to create archive.

@Clark Kent Thanks for suggesting the conditions. But I am not looking forward to use Google Takeout anymore to create Archive. Is there any alternative solution to take the backup of G Suite account data?

Hi Samantha, You can manually create the backup of your Google Apps for Education mailbox data in Outlook PST file format using the below given steps.

Step 1: Install Outlook on your PC
Step 2: Configure Outlook with G Suite account
Step 3: Access the generated PST from C:\users\username\Documents\Outlook Files

Even though this method is effective, there exists several limitations like:

• Lengthy process & Requires lot of time

• Filters cannot be applied on the created backup

• Requires technical knowledge

In order to create G Suite account backup without such limitations, you can go for SysTools Google Apps Backup tool.
