PDF Documents

I have some PDF documents that I want to delete as they are not required anymore.

I get the following message ‘The action can’t be completed because the file is open in windows explorer’.

There is no PDF documents open - please help

Did you check your task manager to make sure your PDF program isn't open? Or maybe open by another user?

Is this shared on a file server or on a PC?

Try this

Open task manager  >   Processes   >  Windows Explorer  > Restart

then delete your pdf files

Hi Nick Collins,

There could be other users not closed the PDF document properly , request to log off from the file server and restart you system and try to delete, it will be delete,

i am also facing the same problem few days back to delete the PDF documents from the shared file server, i request my colleges to close the folder path and tried, it working for me, please check.
