Raid Array showing degraded.
RAID 5 Requires at least 3 disks, it looks like Windows Disk 0 has a failed drive - replace immediately and let the RAID rebuild

I was wondering is that was the case. Im still a little confused. Shouldnt the drives show differently instead of them all being 0:1:? Looks to me the physical disk in each VD have the same drive designation. So what your saying is drive 0:1:1 is missing in the first VD right?
Not sure about naming of the drives, and never dealt with Dell Raid in the past.
But if you show me two RAID 5 virtual drives, and by expanding them one shows 3 drives and one shows only 2, this is a problem. Probably a corrupt or damaged drive.

I just looked up the specs for this server. Server only has 3 physical drives in it. So now it looks like 3 physical drives are showing in one raid set but only 2 in the other set. However, both VDs are from the same 3 physical drives.

There are 3 physical disks. OS is working. Server isnt under warranty. I have called Dell, they want $299 to diagnose. At this point I am leaning toward ordering a new drive and trying to let the controller rebuild. I am also getting this error from windows.
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk2\dr2

Do not procrastinate - make sure you have a viable backup AS SOON AS POSSIBL , then you can worry about replacing the failed drive!
Hi Mikesmith,
I think replacing the Hard Drive with one with same specs shall do the trick, however if you face any trouble during the rebuild you can use Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery-Technician. The software manages to rebuild data even if the drive is severely damaged. All you need to do is disconnect the drives from the RAID controller and then connect all of them to a PC in their correct order. Check the software out from here: https://www.stellarinfo.com/windows-raid-recovery.php
