I am working on a proof of concept project. We need to publish files from one of our internal Windows Servers to specific folders on a SharePoint Online account. We do not have a license for SharePoint On-Premise. Before I go down this path, can anyone verify whether this is possible or not? My hope is to connect via C# and automate the transfer.

Automated Publishing to SharePoint Online without On-Premise License

Microsoft Sharepoint is a software platform and family of software products used for collaboration and web publishing combined. These capabilities include developing web sites, portals, intranets, content management systems, search engines, wikis, blogs, and other tools for business intelligence and collaboration. SharePoint has a Microsoft Office-like interface, and it is closely integrated with the Office suite.
