I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Unless you have installed something from Microsoft that include .NET, a Mac OS X computer won't normally be running it at all.

Are there any websites I can go to or utilities or programs I can download that will tell me what version of .Net is running on a Mac OS X computer?

If the computer isn't running .Net at all then all the website or utility needs to do is to tell me this.

If .Net Core has been installed on the Mac computer then to check the version of .Net do the follow in a terminal window
dotnet —version

If .Net has not been installed and you wish to install it go to this Microsoft Download site.

I don't know of such a program.  This page says that .NET Core is only supported on macOS 10.12 "Sierra" and macOS 10.11 "El Capitan".  I see nothing that indicates the older Windows .NET versions are supported at all unless you have Mono installed for development.
Fernando SotoRetiredCommented:
Only .Net Core is supported on non Microsoft Windows platforms. .Net Framework is only supported on Microsoft Windows platform.
