Should make no difference. Maybe that key is set in Win7 without you knowing about it - verify that. Or UAC is off on Win7 - that would be my guess.

Why can't I see mapped drives when I am searching for a destination location for a backup program I am using? &nbsp;I use a free file backup program called AOMEI Backupper and I want to backup the DOCUMENTS folder to a mapped drive folder on the network. &nbsp;When I click on THIS PC I do not see the mapped drives as I do when I click right into THIS PC. &nbsp;See screenshots.<br />

Why can't I see mapped drives when I am searching for a destination location for a backup program I am using?
