Why does this gallery fade to white as I scroll down the page?

In full desktop size viewing this page https://www.rakaiaisland.co.nz/gallery/ why does the gallery fade to white as I scroll down the page? Note this seems to occur in Chrome but not Firefox.

How can I track down where the fade out is configured or styled so that I can stop it happening?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thanks for your comments.

Refreshing the page doesn't help; the page appears to be fully loaded.

Please see screenshots of what I see as I scroll down the page.

Screenshot 1 shows the gallery visible as normal.
Scrolling down a little more and it's semi visible (screenshot 2)
A little more and it fades out altogether (screenshot 3)

There is a javascript error showing in the dev tools console (screenshot provided). Perhaps I need to look at that in case it's relevant.

The same javascript error occurs on at least one other page where there are no visible issues.

I've found the solution to this: while editing the page using the WPBakery Visual Builder (a visual editor plugin bundled with the theme), I found that under Edit Row there was a Parallax option set to "With Fade". Changing this to "None" fixed the issue.

Thanks all for your help!
