SQL studio manager connection with Visual studio

I created a database in SQL studio manager. Now i need to connect the database with visual studio 2017. (I know that i need to install entity framework) but i need a step by step tutorial how to do it.

you don't NEED to install entity framework
what you do need to do is set up a connection to sql database
go to servers tab, bottom left, select add a connectionsql connectionselect the server and databasenow we have our connectionstep 2step 3result

I thing with the entity framework installation it will be more easy. I am looking for a step by step tutorial with the use of entity framwork
