Excel 2007-how to open 2 files on two different monitors

I would like to have one excel file open on Monitor 1 and another excel file open on Monitor 2. I would prefer to NOT have to expand the Excel program window across both monitors. Is there a way to open an excel file in a separate window?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Right click the excel icon in taskbar and open a second instance of excel, move to the other screen, load file, done.
Don't know if this works with excel 2007 (for sure it works in later versions, which you should be upgrading to anyways...)

Indeed there is. May I suggest you download the trial of this excellent program that I've been using for years by Realtime Soft called "Ultramon".

It's not well known, but it works extremely well and will certainly allow you to do what you want and a whole more! Works on all Windows versions.

I hope that's helpful.
