Unable to install Windows 10 Update: 2018-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4093105).

Hi Experts,

I've made several attempts to install the Windows 10 Update: 2018-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1709 for x64-based Systems (KB4093105).

The Update History says:
Last failed install attempt on 25/04/2018 - 0x800f0845

I've run the following, neither reports errors:

DISM.exe/Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That update (KB4093105) was new yesterday (4/24/2018).

Since you have run DISM and SFC, make sure BIOS, Chipset and Video Drivers are up to date.

If that does not work, you may need to try a Windows 10 Repair Install and Keep Everything.

Windows 10 is running, so click on the Download button (not Upgrade Button, select Open (Run) but NOT Save. Allow the program to run. Allow drivers to update. Then select Keep Everything (this is the default selection).
That is no security update, so there's no harm done  by simply skipping it. So consider that and then on the next patchday, if possible, move right to the next major build of windows: v1803.

I have done 3 machines yesterday and doing one now (and the update is proceeding). But the advice to skip is fine as well as Version 1803 should be out very soon.
