Just login to wp-admin then from left menu, go to Apperance > Editor
then from right side menu click on Theme Header and add Google analytics code before </head> tag.

After going to Apperance> Editor this is what I see. Should I see Theme Header, or is that the same as header.php

Is there any other Header file, or check </head> tag in files available.

Do not see any other Header file or </head> tag in files.

it should be. You can also add this code to footer.php before the </body> closing tag.

Another way is via FTP. Do you have the access of FTP where the site is uploaded.

You can add Google Analytics in WordPress in following ways:
1. Paste Google Analytics code just before closing Head tag in Header file.
To access header file, you have to click on Appearance -> Editor -> Theme Header on the Right Hand menu -> Header File
2. You can use plugins and it will do the work for you.
Install the plugin via WordPress, Activate the plugin, Navigate through left hand side bar where you find installed plugin. Authenticate via Google, copy and paste the access code and choose your property from the dropdown. You can also paste the code manually. Your WordPress site is linked to Google Analytics.
3. You can paste the Google Analytics code in main file using FTP Server.
