act reader utility :Current password is not valid

I am running the act reader utility first time. It is asking current password which I am keeping blank and then providing new password .
But when I click on Reset button it throws error saying "Current password is not valid".   Please see attachmentActReaderUtility_error.docx for detail.



Please help.

Yes I am connecting to ACT! by Sage Premium 2009 .
And Database : Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition, SP4, Build 9.00.5000.00 (2005)
That would only happen if it already been run and had the SA pass changed.
There is a utility to reset it, I'm not sure if that was available for 2009.

What's the reason for using the ActReader?

Try: SecurityCmdLnApp.exe
Have you tried accessing the database with Windows Authentication?
Is this intending to be a one-off extract or something regular?
