Expanding disk on a VM, using another host resources
We have two Hyper V hosts. A and B. A has plenty of storage, B host doesn't. I have several VM's on Host B that need additional 500GB disks. Is it possible to use Host A disk resources and give host B vm additional disk?
yes by using a network share
Hello,
You can also balance the amount of vm on each of the hosts, so as not to consume as many resources on a single host.
Migrate the VMs to a host with similar requirements and monitor its performance for a few days.
I remain attentive to the results.

@R@F@r - What is the best practice for migrating the VM's? Previous tech had dedicated nic's on a different subset between both hosts just for VM's migration. Are you familiar with this method?
