Access to encrypted Scalar Function

When I try to view a scalar function definition I get the following message: "The User Defined Function cannot be scripted as its data is not accessible.  Property TextHeader is not available for UserDefineFunction.  This property may not exist for this object, or may not be retrievable due to insufficient access rights.  The text is encrypted.

Could someone tell me the simplest most benign way to grant myself access rights?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here is an article on the topic of encrypting and decrypting functions:
https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/2964/encrypting-and-decrypting-sql-server-stored-procedures-views-and-userdefined-functions/

To decrypt you must start with opening a Dedicated Administrator Connection (DAC) to SQL Server; if you can't do that you will not be able to proceed further.
