Restricting office 365 access to work devices

I am using Office 365 for a large number of people. If I roll it out these users will have the ability to access on any devices. I realise there is a costly in tune option but is there anything else I can do preferably free to allow them only to access on their work device? thanks.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The only free solution is via AD FS claims rules, assuming you have on-premises AD, servers and so on. Apart from that, you can use Conditional Access (requires Azure AD P1 license), which is cheaper than Intune.
