Can't install Windows 10 Updates

Have been given an image with Windows 10 (10240).  After the pc is imaged, it will not install the updates and/or upgrades.  Have tried all the methods suggested to force/manually install the various KB's and nothing works.  SFC found corrupted files and it could not fix all of them.

Any suggestions short of a full reinstall?

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

10240??  Wow. If you legitimately have reimaging rights then grab a newer image. There were known issues with old versions of WU. You can keep trying to update and it will eventually go  but it can take repeated attempts.

Woody - have you tried any of our suggestions?  Repair install will provide and new image and install it. Fresh Install will of course work.

Hopefully this is not an HP Envy with Intel Clover Trail CPU.
