What are checks called that are printed on a piece of 8.5" x 11" paper where you're instructed to cut along the dotted line and deposit in a bank just like a regular check? I know someone who received one and is referring to it as an e-check but I think that's wrong. E-checks I believe are strictly electronic payments. What I'm asking about kind of looks like a regular check but it's just printed on a piece of regular paper. Just trying to find out what that type of instrument is referred to as in the industry. EZ check maybe? Or maybe the person is right and they are called e-checks. Thanks to anyone who knows.
