The relationship between crystal report and stored procedure

I have a crystal report, which is connected with a stored procedure in a database.  My question is , if I change something in the store procedure without changing its input parameters, do I have to re-connected the crystal report to the stored procedure ?  I did a simple testing, i.e. change the stored procedure and then simply run the crystal report , it seems that the changed contents in the store procedure showed in the report.

Thank you in advance!

Thanks mlmcc!  I believe your suggestion is the right way.

For my special case, my report has been published on a vendor's website.  I didn't upload the report after revising the stored procedure.  The report did carry the changes in the stored procedure. So I guess the vendor has built an implicit way to do the verify database.
