reported issue: "My install of Office would frequently use up 100% CPU periodically throughout the day, limiting my ability to work. "

user is on a mac but he uses his email on windows through parallels.

i had him update office, and then run an online repair (though programs and features) but he said it actually is worse.

Can the user open up the Activity Monitor app on their computer and leave it running in the background.

When the CPU hits MAX they can take a screenshot of the top processes .. as there could be a rogue process at issue here.
Hello,

Validate the task manager to see which processes or services are consuming the most resources.

Run a scan with your antivirus software, to validate or discard any malware or malicious software on your computer
