Those commands won't work in AIX.

In short the answer to your question is no as 'lspv' just lists the available Physical Volumes HDISK0, HDISK1 etc..

Physical Volumes constist of 1 or more harddisks referred to as Physical Disks which are labeled as PDISK0, PDISK1 etc..

For example to see the full hardware details of harddisk pdisk0 issue the following command at the root prompt:

# lscfg -vl pdisk0

Please note that when you need to replace or add disks to a Physical Volume you will need the FRU (Field Replaceable Unit) number instead of the serial number to make sure you will get the right disks. The FRU is also listed with the 'lscfg' command.
