VB.Net SQLDataReader rows count and grid or form

I am reading from a SQLDataReader on my aspx web page

What I need to do is if there is only 1 row of data do the part below
But if there are multiple add everything to a datatable and then bind to RadGrid as the datasource

Or maybe backwards?

FIll a datatable?
And if multiple rows bind to Grid else populate the controls below?

If dR.HasRows Then
    While dR.Read
        divResults.Visible = True
        diverror.Visible = False
        hdnIndividualID.Value = dR("IndividualID").ToString() + ""
        hdnOriginID.Value = dR("OriginID").ToString() + ""
        lbLeadInformationNumber.Text = dR("ExternalID").ToString() + ""
        lbName.Text = dR("FullName").ToString() + ""
    End While
    divResults.Visible = False
    diverror.Visible = True
End If

As a DataReader is move forwards only I would think your second method is the better one:-
FIll a datatable
And if multiple rows bind to Grid else populate the controls below
