Hyper-v storage on Synology: SMB,NFS or ISCSI?

What storage to use for Hyper-v (standalone) on Synology: NFS, ISCSI, SMB (just a home lab)?
Can configure them all, but would prefer simple setup like SMB (then I can see & backup my vm's in simply <=> ISCSI lun, where I need to have/dedicate LUN to hyper-v).

Thanks for your input!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Using SMB or NFS is native to the Synology NAS, iSCSI adds additional overhead.
