Synchronization Error with Outlook 2016

I have two items that I need addressing.

1. My user gets an email message with a sync log. What is this and how can I disable him from triggering it ?

2. In the sync Log I have an error "80070005-508-80070005-560" It seems like the error references a permissions issue but how can this happen if nothing has changed for months.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The error code 80070005-508-80070005-560 occurs when your offline Outlook Data File (.ost) is corrupted. This happens when Outlook is in Cached Exchange Mode and face problems on caching files on the computer. To stop receiving sync log emails and errors, follow the steps.

1. Open MS Outlook >> click on Options
2. Select Account Settings >> Account Settings
3. Click on Change >> More Settings
4. Now choose Advanced Tab & uncheck Download shared folders option
