Exchange E02tmp.log in Exchange 2013

I am new to exchange and trying to find the purpose of E03tmp.log file. My understanding is , this file is being used when the space run out, but i might be wrong.
We have plenty of space for the log volume and noticed an windows event related to this file with event id 533. It is just a waring. I am curious what this file does when we have plenty of space?

where is this file located? (beside the DB?)
If so, it's a log file, that all the exchange server has the transfer mailbox and headers log.

its the temp data before it gets renamed to E00.log and eventually that getting renamed to E00xxxxxxxxxx.log
there are 3 stages... first, in built, version store, from there E00tmp.log, then to E00.log and then to E00xxxxxxx.log

Plese, try to disable any Anti-virus Program installed in your system and then check whether still Message of Event Id Displayed or not.

Check what process is holding the file, open resource monitor , check the CPU tab, expand associated handles, search for the file name itself you might get the image and PID accessing the file if it is other than store process you need to eliminate that
