Does the iPhone X have a delete button

Does the iPhone X have a delete button?

While typing, editing, or modifying emails or texts I sometimes find the need to delete letters or words that are in front of the cursor rather than behind the cursor.

So what do I need to do so I can delete these characters in front of where the cursor is currently located?

No Delete key.  You may be able to highlight and replace, otherwise backspace.

When you hold your finger on the cursor you get the option to select the text or to select all. You select the text by holding your finger on to the screen. After you done that you can let loose and you will have the following options. Cut Copy BIU and Search.
