Deleting user for office 365 hybrid environment

Hello there,

Environment is hybrid with exchange 2010 and office 365 enterprise E3.

I want to learn the best and quickest way to delete user completely from the environment including his mailbox.

Can I simply delete the AD object and that should after the synccycle delete the user account and mailbox from the org ?

If not, what are the recommended steps provided I am not looking for any backups and it is a test user ?

Thanks

Nick

1. Remove assigned license from Admin Portal so mailbox and other O365 features will be disabled. However O365 retains account configuration for 30 days in it's purge system so you can restore it.
2. Then delete AD account if you really don't need for any purpose or you just want to delete mailbox so I hope you have migrated account in subject, You can find this user's mailbox as "Remote User mailbox" in EMC and disable it from there. it will disable all attributes related O365 from AD as well.
