How to update the BIOS on a Surface
I am trying to update the BIOS on a Surface Pro 3 that is running Windows 8.1 Pro and I am completely lost.
-I downloaded a "Surface Firmware Tool" but when I run it, it does absolutely nothing.
-I then downloaded an MSI file, which caused some downloads screen to appear, and when I clicked "Open" on the msi, I got some error message saying it was not applicable to my PC.
-I then downloaded a zip file but it has several folders in it, each with an .inf file whose "Type" is "Setup Information," and I have no idea which to use (or even how to use it).
I've updated the BIOS on desktop PCs and printers several times, but I have no idea how to do it for a Surface.
