I disabled the default hardware accelerated decoding.<br />

I don't know what is the coding of the video. the file is a .mkv of 64 Gb for 2:30 hours <br />
<br />
just to clarify that I successfully watched this video in the past, and accidently I reseted the default setting of VLC .....<br />

I am having the same problem too with x.265 it just won't play on the VLC.<br />
I have also installed KLite Codec pack but it doesn't help.
