Load xlsx file that is comma delimited

I have an xlsx file but when I open the file it is comma delimited.  How do I in vba do the equivalent of text to columns.  All the googling I have done provides solutions for a CSv file but my file is an xlsx file but the data is comma delimited

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you saying the file is a real XLSX file, with the data being in a single column, but comma delimited? Are you sure is not a misnamed CSV file?

You can see how the VBA looks for Text-To-Columns by recording a macro while you perform the required actions manually.
