Large mailbox move - 2010 to 2016 -

Hey guys - i am transferring a really large mailbox to 2016 from 2010 - per EMC 2010 (under properties) it says the user's mailbox is 43.9GB. We have done all the rest of the mailboxes (about 150 fine, with no issues). Now it's been running dall day, and incrementing, however, it still says syncing and the data shows 44.83GB - Is this normal or should i be worried?

Cliff - thanks, I'll let it continue to run, it's been going on 11 hrs now. I was concerned because the data transferred in EAC 2016 showd more than the mailbox size..was wondering why.
Like I said, logs. A lot of extra data gets moved around.

Got it, hopefully the logs wouldn't be like more than a few gb?
Hi!

Do you get the detail error messages if mailbox migration fails?

You can run "Get-MoveRequestStatistics <Identity>" to check the process and current status of move request.

Moreover, 43.9GB is a lot bigger than other mail boxes so that 's why I would recommend to run New-MoveRequest with BadItemLimit and AllowLargeItems.

Meanwhile, please ensure the 43.9GB will not exceed the mailbox size limitation in source DB, target DB and mailbox setting.

Cliff - I waited it out another 20 mins after posting this last night and it completed. Thanks for the help!
No worries. Glad it finished.
