best practices guidelines for sccm

Hi

We are going to deploy Microsoft system center in our organization. 250 -300 users. Is there any best practices guidelines  from Microsoft available  ?

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would start here:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sccm/core/plan-design/configs/recommended-hardware

That's a pretty small site though.  I would recommend you put the SQL database on the same server that SCCM is running from for performance reasons (SCCM includes a license for SQL).

BTW, 96GB is overkill.  We have 32GB for our SCCM server with the database on the same server with 58% utilization and 1200 clients.
