Check running time of insert into Oracle Table

Is there a way to see how long an insert that is running is going to take to finish.  I kicked off an insert two hours ago.  It's there any way to see how long it will take before it finishes.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

v$session_longops has a time_remaining column that tends to be really accurate.

You need to track down the sid and serial# of the insert's session and join it with v$session_longops.

There are a few other columns there that might interest you like elapsed_seconds, start_time and several more.  The documentation has descriptions of all the columns.
